David - Quick Question, have you evr thought of combining your RSI 2 method with a trend filter. Your method seems to work especially well except for these deep pullbacks (such as August, now, etc. I was reading Curtis Faith's book and the turtles used a trend filter to determine whether to take a signal. I was thinking it might inprove the RSI 2 results, question is what filter. Think something moving averaged based but I question where to ignore signal. Probably somewhere decently below the 50 day MA but not so low that it doesn't really matter. I plan to try and play with this, but let me know if you have explored something like this before.

AT trading markets, the system requires that long entries only be made if the markets are above the 200 day SMA- that is the filter they use
