GOODBYE ZEROES

Equity futures are trading higher with the ES +2.5, NQ +2 and YM +14.

The dollar is lower by about .5% at 77.9 while gold is +1% at 1104.

Its going to be another slow day so not going to be here very long - but first some links:

MIDDDAY SNOOZE

Equities are bouncing around near the flat line with the SPX -1, NAZ -1 and the DJIA +1.

Strongest sectors- semis, tech, junk, emerging markets and ags while gaming, metals, internets and retail.

NYSE- 600 net losers;

NAZ- 500 net losers;

NDX- 60 GREEN;

SPX- 218 GREEN;

VIX- 20.1 and a hair below the SMA 10.

TRIN- 1.37 with down volume about 2x the up.

BAC FRE FNM C all lower.

Very little in the way of excitement and looking to turn off the machines and head out shortly- and probably done for the week as my time can be better spent at the gym- on the bike.

THE FLOPS

Equities are pretty quiet starting the week with the SPX flat , NAZ +4 and the DJIA +11.

Market internals have been dipping most of the morning with the NAZ the worst at 400 net red- SPX not so good either at 225/270.

I sold some IYR and bought some SLV - but it should be a boring week-

MORNING BRIEF

Equity indexes have opened higher but seem to be struggling at these levels as - we are way overbough as witnessed by the following RSI 2 levels:

SPX 97

DJIA 96

NAZ 98

NDX 98

RUT 98

Stronges sectors- energy, reits, real estate, Brazil, internets and retail while bonds, homies, trannies, semis and brokers lag.

NYSE- 600 net winners;

NAZ- flat internals;

SPX- 275 GREEN;

NDX- 55 GREEN;

Gold flat at 1105 while the dollar is down about .25%;

Oil up not quite 1% at $78.7.

All the little junk higher including FNM FRE AIG C and BAC.

This fish looking to buy some pullbacks today - and it appears that QLD is the place - My VALE has ripped off the bottom and will probably scale out of that this morning - other thing that looks interesting at these levels- SILVER.
